Lovage Seeds
Lovage is a tender perennial herb in the parsley family that is easy to cultivate and hardy in zones 4 and higher. Long cultivated throughout most of Europe, though grown more widely in the past than nowadays, lovage leaves are used as a culinary herb, with a flavor reminiscent of both celery and anise. The roots can be eaten as a vegetable, while the seeds may be used as a spice, particularly in southern European dishes.
